School is back on!

Hi Room 9

Hope you are all doing well. Since you know that school opened yesterday and we have had 14 of us back and Manpreet.
If you are not sure about coming back to school then please email Manpreet. 

We are really practising good hand washing routine and keeping the classroom surfaces clean and sanitised.

We miss you and really would like you to come back to school this week. 

Don't forget to visit the class site to view your learning and read or hear important messages. See you soon!!!

Back to school

Only a few students have come back in Room 9 but all of them are continuing using Google Meets to work with their classmates who are still home and doing online learning.

Get Blogging- A message from Manpreet

What has Room 9 been up to? What are we learning?

In Reading we are learning to make inferences. Look at what learning we have been doing. We are learning about fractions in Room 9 at the moment. Our learning in Writing

The first group of students who are back at school under level 2 after the lockdown. We are completing activities like weaving the names of people who have helped us during the lockdown and jobs we did to support our whanau. We are all grateful for what we had during this time and are so grateful to be back at school. We are so thrilled.

Being back in class

Today I did a hangout with my class from my class (Room 9). It felt so different but really good. I felt very lonely and the silence in the classroom feels sad but I looked around the walls of the classroom and the furniture and pictured each and every student of Room 9 doing what they do in class and that brought a smile to my face.

Really looking forward to welcoming as many of you who can come from 18th May.
